There are many ways you can use the DT bracket to set a conibear trap.
It can be used to set in a run or with a baited set. Anything from a cut down wooden post, fiber glass pole, or rebarr may be used,. The bolt in the back can be used to securely tighten the bracket into place. The traps may be set both horizontally and vertically with this method. When setting them vertically, all you need to do is insert a screw into the point of the v so you post stays in place while leaving room for the conibear to connect.
1. Set your trap
2. Line trap up with the slots on the bracket. Make sure chains are out of the way.
3. Retrieve cacth and repeat!
